Privacy policy

This site is designed to be lightweight and privacy-minimal.

What the site itself does

This site does not use accounts, contact forms, or owner-run analytics, and it does not ask visitors to submit personal information in order to use the public pages.

The ELIZA demo is designed to run in the browser. Conversations are not stored by the site. If a visitor chooses to use the Copy chat button, that action copies plain text to the visitor’s own clipboard on their device.

Advertising and consent

This site may display advertising provided by Google or other advertising partners. Those services may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to deliver ads, measure performance, manage consent choices, and support related functions such as fraud prevention.

Where required, visitors may be shown a consent message to manage advertising and privacy choices. Any personal data processing connected with advertising or consent tools is handled by the relevant third-party providers under their own policies.

Hosting and essential technical data

The site is hosted on Netlify, which may process limited technical information needed to deliver the site securely and reliably. That can include server logs, request metadata, or other infrastructure-level information required for performance and security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you are, you may have rights under applicable data protection law, including rights relating to access, deletion, objection, restriction, or withdrawal of consent for non-essential cookies or advertising technologies.

In the UK, the relevant supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes to this page

This page may be updated from time to time if the way the site operates changes, for example if advertising, consent tools, or other third-party services are added, removed, or altered.
